Tupuna Safari invites you to discover the Faanui Valley surrounded by tropical vegetation and fruits plantations. Learn from the legends surrounding this beautiful green valley.

Faanui Valley is also home for Emmanuel Masson, a celebrated local painter and his wife Jacqueline.

Experience how the traditional colorful handmade « pareos » became a work of art in a lovely location while tasting some local delicious fruits.

Located on the northwest side of the main island, the entrance to this village is an iconic Protestant church with the scenic view of the famous Mont Otemanu and Mount Pahia.

🎨 EMMANUEL MASSON

Visit the house of the famous Polynesian artist painter Emmanuel Masson.

The gifted artist grew up painting. His mother Rosine Temauri Masson and his famous father Jean Masson were also artists and encouraged Emmanuel to learn and find his own style.

Emmanuel paints the landscapes of his « Fenua », the beaches, the « motus », the coconut trees, the flowers and the legendary mountains using different techniques.

He and his wife Jacqueline live next to their atelier located in the mountains of Faanui Valley where they sell these « pareos » painted by them to the delight of the travellers!
